Sources – Canelo Alvarez, Jake Paul Completion 3 May Boxing Camp

Canelo Alvarez and Jake Paul are in the process of ending an appointment for a May 3rd Cruiserweight match in the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, sources of ESPN told Thursday.

The match would be disputed at the cruiserweight limit of 200 pounds, sources said, and was expected to be streamed on Netflix.

Alvarez, Boxing’s Top Star, is the overall champion of 168 pounds and is a former master of £ 175. Paul, a social-media-star-facing boxer, has not yet been exposed to a world-class boxer and is now ready to do so at the highest level.

Paul, 28, is one of Boxing’s top attractions despite his novice skill level. Hans Matchup in November with 58-year-old Mike Tyson, a match Paul won via eight-round decision, topped with a staggering 64 million contemporary streams on Netflix.

This event was staged at Dallas Cowboys at home and produced a $ 18.1 million gate.

This development of a match with Paul comes days after ESPN reported that Alvarez and Terence Crawford ended an agreement for a September game of 168 pounds at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Mexicos Alvarez typically struggles twice a year at Cinco de Mayo Weekend and Mexican Independence Day weekend in September.

It is possible that Alvarez’s decision to fight Paul would bring the deal that was in place to fight Crawford in a Riyadh season event on Mexican Independence Day weekend, sources say.

“When I’m finished boxing (at the top level)), why not?” Alvarez told “Full Send Podcast” in November when asked about the opportunity to fight Paul. “Yes, maybe. I think it’s good because it attracts fans who don’t usually see boxing. They know Jake Paul, but they don’t know anything about boxing.”
