That’s why I think over 4.5 assists remain a solid game when Rockets visit Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday.

I prefer Houston to face a bad defensive team and for Rockets to have a high team in everything, but I still think Thompson will create lots of scoring opportunities in Van Vleet’s absence.

Sengun returned from an injury in Houston’s last match, and Thompson still succeeded eight assists.

While it came to the low Brooklyn nets, it still speaks to his ability to prioritize play production and how much he can shine in their regular violation.

There is obviously a chance for Minnesota’s Elite Defense Stymies Houston. Jaden McDaniels could pose Ball for Thompson, and Rudy Gobert can reduce Thompson’s assists by protecting the edge from other rockets, but this effort is about Thompson’s use and emergence that the market has not adjusted enough.
