When does the other Monster Hunter Wilds Beta Beta start?

Monster Hunter Wilds‘s open beta 2 Provides another opportunity to test the next of Capcom’s action role-playing series before launching later this month.

While there was previously a staggered roll -out of PS5 owners, all platforms this time can play from OFF, and for those who can’t play over the first set of dates, you can jump into another test weekend a week later. In other words – this open beta was just more open.

For those who check into the first beta, there are two additional monsters to hunt and new sets of beta rewards as an incentive to revise.

Monster Hunter Wilds Beta 2 dates

The other Monster Hunter WildsOpen Beta takes place across two weekends in early February, and unlike the first test, it is immediately available on all platforms.

The Monster Hunter Wilds Beta 2 dates in North America are as follows:

  • Thursday, February 6 to Sunday 9 February
  • Thursday, February 13 to Sunday 16 February

Since it is a global launch, for those in Europe and Japan, add a day to start and end dates listed above and/or use the following times to know exactly when you can start playing in your region.

The other Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta starts at the following times in your time zone:

  • 19.00 pst to the west coast of North America (Thursday, February 6)
  • 22:00 est to the East Coast of North America (Thursday, February 6)
  • 04:00 CET For Western Europe/Paris (the following day on Friday 7 February)
  • 3 AM GMT For Britain (the following day on Friday 7 February)
  • 12.00 JST In Japan/Tokyo (the following day on Friday 7 February)

The above times are also where each period ends – so for those in North America it ends on Sunday 9 February at. 19.00 PST / 22.00 EST.

For those planning around the second weekend, the same times on Thursday, February 13 in North America.

As with all betas, you need to be patient when encountering possible server problems, and also be aware of what is in the test that may not be fully representative of the full game, something capcom in itself has been open about.

“Our entire development team is hard to work on reviewing your valuable feedback and focusing on improving the full version of the game,” Capcom wrote in a statement. “However, remember that these improvements, including performance, game balance, weapons mechanics, known problems and more will not be reflected in the OLT 2 building.”

How to get access to Monster Hunter Wilds’s Open Beta on PS5, Xbox and PC

The start of Monster Hunter Wilds‘S Open Beta is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Windows PC. On console, a subscription to PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass is not necessary.

You do not need a pre-ordering, registration or beta key to get access-gible go to your platform’s storefront and download the open beta client.

A pre-load will be available 24 hours in front of each platform’s start time, which means you can start playing as soon as the test begins.

What’s in the other Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta?

The Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta contains the following:

  • Opening the story, including Chatacabra -Tutorial Hunt
  • Doshaguma Hunt -Meeting
  • Gypceros Hunt -Meeting (new for the other beta)
  • Arkveld “Advanced” HUNT ENCOUNTER (new for the other beta)
  • A weapon education area in the base camp (new for the second beta)
  • The character and the Palico creator which can be transferred to the full game
  • Multiplayer Support through SOS-Fakler (which works across platform) with the addition of private lobbies and online single-player mode support in the other beta

The requirement to unlock these is simply to create a characterwhich is then imported to the full game – so provided you do it, no matter how much you are playing, the above rewards are yours. As such, an online connection is required for these items to be transferred.
