Deion Sanders adds Marshall Faulk to Colorado staff as RB trainer

Colorado adds another Pro Football Hall of Famer to his coaching staff.

The Buffalos announced on Thursday evening that former St. Louis Rams and Indianapolis Colts, who drive back Marshall Faulk, will join Deion Sanders’ staff as a running back coach. It’s the first coaching job in Faulk’s football career.

Faulk joins Sanders and Warren Sapp, who joined the staff last season, as a gold jacket owners to take the trip to Boulder. The trio has also worked together as analysts at NFL Network, although Faulk’s time ended in 2017 after being appointed a trial of sexual harassment.

Faulk is still one of the most decorated running back in the NFL story with seven Pro Bowl nikes, an MVP award and a central role in the biggest show on Turf. He was laid down in Canton in 2011. He will participate in a Colorado program that took a step forward in 2024, ending the season with a 9-4 record and a No. 25 ranking in the final AP vote.

The running back -coach position was open after departing by Gary Harrell, who followed Sanders to Colorado after three years in Jackson State. Colorado will have work to do in 2025 after the departures of Quarterback-Rinle Sanders and two-way standout Travis Hunter, both of which are expected to be early elections in the 2025 NFL draft.
