Maxine Waters, House Dems Torn for ‘Unhinged’ clash with security guard at an educational department.

Conservatives on social media blasted Rep. Maxine Waters, D-California, after she and other Democrats protested President Donald Trump tried to enter the Department of Education Building in Washington, DC, while joining a security guard in the process.

Thirty House Democrats Tried to enter the Department of Education Building Friday morning to meet with acting education secretary Denise L. Carter regarding Trump’s plans to significantly cut or even eliminate the department, but they were stopped by security.

Video of Democrats trying to convince the visibly uninterested security guard to let them quickly spread on Social mediatriggers strong pushback from Conservatives.

Waters and other Democrats could be seen on video that famous security guard, repeatedly asked for his ID and asked him to look at the camera so viewers could see his face.

“This is funny,” Author Justin Hart Sent on x. “Democrats have oblivion, walking around the city trying to scare federal workers for some reason.”

“Absolute pathetic theater from the House Democrats at the Department of Education, down to claim that the security officer is a modern police officer in the deep south -blocking school integration,” Newsbusters Managing Editor Curtis Huck Sent on X.

“Unhinged Maxine Waters is annoying,” Director of Communications for the White House Steven Cheung Sent on x. “This deteriorating behavior is like a scene that was torn right out of flowers in the attic.”

Fox News Digital reached out to Waters’ Office for comment.

One help made it inside the building and explained to security that legislators were there. Members then tried to go into the building and at that time the doors were locked, Fox News was told.

The nation’s report card, which assesses how American students work in different subjects, showed seven out of 10 fourth classes are not skilled readers, which is a worse score than the last report card in 2022. The report card noted that reading score showed “no significant change” since 1992.

Former Education Secretary Betsy Devos who earned in Trump’s first administration, Slamed the department and called for a renewal of a meaning.

“A complete reset begins by ending the failed experiment residing in the Department of Education. The bureaucrats have focused on Monday DEI when students needed focus to be on ABC and 123,” Devos wrote. “President Trump and Congress should remove their corrosive power and instead block grants for all necessary educational financing directly to the states.”

On the campaign track, Trump repeatedly suggested that the elimination of the department be completely on the table.

“One thing I want to do very early in the administration closes the Department of Education in Washington, DC, and sends all education and education work it needs back to the states,” Trump said in a campaign video from 2023.
