Toyota announces that it remembers 140,000 vehicles: here is why

Toyota announced on Thursday that it remembers over 140,000 vehicles due to security issues.

The company said in a press release That it remembers about 106,000 models of its Tacoma 4-wheel drive vehicles. It remembers too About 41,000 Toyota Camry and Lexus NX vehicles.

Tacoma vehicles are remembered because the rear brake hoses in the vehicles can be damaged over time due to a build-up of mud and dirt inside the rear wheels when operating under certain off-road conditions. This can result in a brake fluid leakage and increase the risk of crashes.

In the Camry and Lexus vehicles, the other-Row-midfield could have been damaged during the manufacture and could cause it to not meet certain strength needs.

Customers are notified of all recalls by April. Replacements for both recalls will be performed by Toyota dealers for free.
