Phoenix Suns survives on overtime vs utah jazz after grayson allen’s late heroik

Phoenix-on despite jumping a 13-point fourth quarter lead, Grayson Allen hit a buzzing 3-point to send Phoenix Suns (26-25) to overtime and Suns then held to defeat Utah Jazz (12 -38) 135-127.

This loss broke Phoenix’s three-game losing shit as it somehow came to overtime down four with less than two seconds left in regulation.

Kevin Durant (Left Ankle Disclosure) and Bradley Beal (Left Large toe tenderness) were excluded before tonight’s matchup was originally questionable.

Utah also had some key players out with Jordan Clarkson (Left Plantar Scalitis) and Collin Sexton (left ankle sprain) both sidelines.

Devin Booker dominated with Durant and Beal out and recorded a season high 47 points (18-33 fg) to go with 11 assists and six rebounds and played 49 minutes in total. Nick Richards also placed a double double with 12 points, 14 rebounds and also had four blocks.

Allen noted 21 points, seven rebounds and six assists, while Tyus Jones (16 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists) and Royce O’Neale (12 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, 4 blocks) were also in double.

Bol Bol had his first double -digit scoring game in the season with 12 points, three rebounds and three blocks from the bench.

Jazz was up with as much as 12 early, and 25 offensive rebounds held them in the game all night long. This gave them momentum to go on a 13-0 race in the fourth quarter to get back.

Six jazz players scored in double, highlighted by John Collins ’21 points and six rebounds, Walker Kessler’s 19 points and 22 rebounds and Isaiah Colliers 15 points and 13 assists,

Suns started 3-for-13 from the floor, and the jazz built of an 11-0 race to go up 20-8 early. At the end of the first, Utah led 30-20 when Suns spent 10 players in the quarter, including Bol and Damion Lee, both of whom were hardly playing out of garbage tonight. Phoenix ended the first 8-for-23 (34.8%) from the floor and 2-for-12 (16.7%) from deep.

Phoenix went 8-2 early in the second quarter to cut the deficit to five. Suns later tied the game on a Bol 3 with eight seconds left in half, and the scoring remained attached at 55 on the way to the break. Booker had a game-high 22 points for Suns on 8-of-12-shooting, while the rest of Suns shot 12-for-35. The field can and Keyonte George had 11 points per day. Piece to lead Utah.

The third quarter scored very high when Suns Outscored Jazz 40-35 and was up 95-90 went to the fourth. Booker was up to 32 points (12-20 fg) and seven assists after three quarters, while Richards had a 10-point, 10-bound double double with four blocks.

Phoenix expanded his lead to double digits by just over nine minutes left in the game, where Booker continued to control all aspects of the game. Suns looked to cross at this time, but a 13-0 race of jazz tied the game back with 2:40 back.

Jazz then continued to score while Suns tried to follow. A rotation pump of collier put Utah ahead with four with 4.4 seconds left and Allen responded with a three with 1.2 to go. The Phoenix stepped the field cane with 0.9 seconds to walk and he made both free kicks.

Suns called timeout and got a side out of bounds, which led O’Neale to find Allen for a Summer-Beating 3-Pointer to go to overtime.

This Summer Beater gave Phoenix all the rhythm it needed when Suns won overtime 13-5, and drilled three 3-Pointers.

Suns is back in action tomorrow night against Denver Nuggets.
