Sonya Deville informed that WWE will not renew his contract

Sonya Deville‘s time with WWE comes to an end.

Mike Johnson of Pwinsides Reported that Per WWE sources will Sonya Deville leave the company later in February when she was informed that WWE would not renew her contract. When her agreement expires, she would be eligible for free agency. She would be able to perform anywhere because of the lack of a non-competition clause.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select also confirmed the news.

Deville competed on WWE hard enough in 2015 and signed with the company. She joined the NXT program list and she later moved to the main list in 2017. She went with Mandy Rose and Paige to form absolution. Deville and Rose later broke off on their own like fire and desire. She continued to feud with Rose, and she also had a race as an authority figure with Adam Pearce. Deville returned to the ring and later won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship with Chelsea Green. She then suffered a torn ACL in July 2023. Deville was sidelined for the next several months.

Sonya Deville returned in May 2024, and she formed Pure Fusion Collective with Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark. She last struggled at WWE MAIN EVENT TAPING on February 3rd, losing to Natalya. She also competed in Women’s Royal Rumble.
