HEAT VS NETS -FORMING, OPTIONS AND ODDS TO THE EVENING’S NBA game

Miami Heat plays their first match since trading with Jimmy Butler as they visit Brooklyn Nets Friday night.

Both teams have struggled to score this season – and too late – and that’s why I take in my Heat vs. Nets foresings.

My analysis
If you were looking to produce a low scoring game in the NBA right now, you couldn’t do too much better than beating the Miami heat against Brooklyn Nets.

Brooklyn has spent the whole season as one of the weakest offensive teams in the league, on average only 105.3 ppg. The nets rank 27. In offensive rating and play at the slowest pace in NBA, a combination that has not only kept their own score to a minimum, but has also prevented opponents from running up.

The nets may have more scoring stans with a healthy cam Thomas (24.7 ppg) in the set-up, but he stays out with a hamstring injury and probably won’t return until after the All-Star break. That leaves Cameron Johnson (19.3 ppg) as a top scorer on the team. Johnson comes back from his own injury and puts only 17 points in 25 minutes in Wednesday’s 119-102 loss to Washington Wizards.

Miami has not been a big offensive this season either, although their average of 111.0 ppg has rated the average of the season. However, the heat is briefly playing after trade butler away to the Golden State Warriors.

Butler average 17 points per Match and had only played in 25 games for the heat this season due to different suspensions. The heat gets Andrew Wiggins (17.6 ppg) and Kyle Anderson back as reinforcements, and Wiggins can really make a difference to the team. However, he is not ready to play before a Monday match against Boston Celtics.

It leaves the heat briefly by scoring options. Tyler herro (23.9 ppg) is a threat to any opponent, and BAM Adebayo (16.4 PPG) can contribute in the position, but this is hardly a team that will put explosive numbers right now – especially against a nets team , who likes to sit on the ball.

The first two games this season between these teams both hit under, none of them produced a total higher than 205 points. Neither list is created in a way to change this trend tonight. If something, these teams are on their way to an even lower total, which is why I take.

Cameron Johnson under 17.5 points

I look at both teams to fight at the offensive end tonight, but I also think it will create a close game. With that in mind, I take the nets to cover a reasonably large spread of 6.5 points. Brooklyn has covered three of its last four matches together, while Miami has gone 1-3 ATS in his last four, and may be able to fight to integrate his new list tonight.

I also take Cameron Johnson to go during his scoring total 17.5 points tonight. In what should be a particularly low scoring game, everyone will see their number of depressed. Johnson has scored 17 points or less in each of his last three games, and I predict that Streak continues tonight, giving us a good choice to add value to our SGP.
