Snow lovers are getting ready! It is possible that a winter storm system could bring accumulating snow and a wintry blend of rainfall to the Washington, the DC region next week.

Heavy Snow Threatening Tuesday?

According to the National Weather Service’s Weather Prediction Center, a dangers of dangers have laid DC and a large cut of northern Virginia and Maryland under a powerful snow threat by Tuesday next week.

“We have growing confidence that Tuesday can be a snow day for many of us or at least a winter weather day,” said Fox 5’s Tucker Barnes.

Snow or winter mix?

The latest models suggest that snow could potentially begin early Tuesday morning before a transition to rain, snow and freeze rain for parts of the region from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning.
