I would not say that Manchester City’s meeting with Real Madrid is their main game this week for two reasons.

First, if the city were to lose today, it would be very important. Secondly, manager Pep Guardiola always says that the most important game is in front of you.

But meeting with Carlo Ancelotti’s page on Tuesday is definitely the most glamorous.

Guardiola complained after a draw where his side had a Saturday FA Cup tag, reducing their preparation time.

However, Real has even less. They play Atletico in a crunchy derby meeting tonight.
