Mamata Banerjee warned after BJPS Delhi -Sejr

Bengal BJP -Leader SUMUMU ADHIKARI, increased by his party’s remarkable victory in the election in the Delhi Assembly in Delhi – fired a warning on Mamata Banerjee on Saturday night – ‘Look, you’re next’.

In a speech with journalists after BJP’s victory was confirmed, Adhikari slipped, “Delhi Ki Jeet Hamari Hain… 2026 Mein Bengal Ki Baari”, or ‘We have won Delhi, in 2026 it is Bengal’s turn’.

Another senior Bengal BJP leader, Sukanta Majumdar, earned a similar warning and declared: “People in Bengal will also vote for BJP … In the next election of assembly …”

Both also thanked the Bengali Society in Delhi for BJP’s victory, though unclear (at this point) if they voted for the saffron party or to the AAM AADMI party, which was supported by Mrs. Banerjee.

BJP has conducted AAP in Delhi, won 48 out of 70 assembly seats, a dramatic improvement from the eight it won in the 2020 elections and three in 2015. Competitions.

BJPS Bengal focus

Bengal BJP leaders’ warnings come in front of the Bengal elections in March-April next year and emphasize BJP’s determination of breaking Mamata Banerjee and her Trinamool Congress, which for the past decade has been a thorn in the side of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his BJP.

Mrs. Banerjee has led Trinamool to victory over Prime Minister Modi and BJP in three consecutive elections – 2019 and 2024 Lok Sabha vote and the Bengal election in 2021. Trinamool also registered an almost pure Fej BJP in 2021 Kolkata Local Body Polls.

In the federal election of 2019, Eked Trinamool a four-seat victory over BJP. Five years later, she bent her political muscles and left the saffron party further back and won 29 seats to open a 17-seat margin. In between, the BJP was thumped in the 2021 election for good target.

But each victory was followed by severe violation between the two parties with allegations of orchestration of violence after voting – shooting battles, bullying and raw bomb attacks that killed party workers and supporters from both sides – adding to the bad blood.

This animosity rose as the two went head-to-head over controversy for having hit Mrs. Banerjee’s government, including rape and murder of a young doctor at Kolkata’s RG Kar Hospital last August and claims of sexual assault in Sandeshkhali of the local Trinamool leader Sheikh Shahjahan.

Much of BJP’s recent attacks on Mrs. Banerjee have been led by Mr. Adhikari, who was the chief minister’s confidant before his shock contact in December 2020, weeks before the last state vote.

For example, at the Sandeshkhali scandal, last month Mr. Adhikari said, “… BJP will send you to jail for getting these women to go to prison in fake cases. We will take revenge with interest.”

On Mamata Banerjee’s support for AAP

Jabs by Mrs. Banerjee is also important because Trinamool had supported AAP -in a step that raised tension in India block after it, and Congress failed to agree on the seat -Share agreement.

It potentially wound up, enabling BJP to gallop for victory after AAP lost more seats due to congress candidates who split votes.

However, it was formed to defeat BJP in state and central elections, the Indian grouping has been stemmed and flattered to impress since it was formed in June 2023. Repeated defeat in elections led to questions about congress’s leadership of the block, and Mrs. Banerjee has appeared as a possible compensation.

Mrs. Banerjee Rising to lead the India block is not something that BJP will favor, because not only will it do the task of winning the 2026 Bengal choice so much harder, it will also complicate its PREP 2029.
