It’s been a week since the amazing trade that sent Dallas Mavericks star Luka Dončić to Los Angeles Lakers. But Mavericks fans are far from over it; Instead, they take on the streets.

Anthony Davis, whom Dallas acquired as part of the trade, is ready to debut in Mavericks on Saturday afternoon. At the forefront of the game, Maverick’s fans outside Dallas’ American Airlines Center protest and express their dissatisfaction with the trade.

Some characters carried by protesters are almost about missing Dončić, considered the face of the franchise and a beloved figure in Dallas. But others directly called for Maverick’s general manager Nico Harrison, who Masterminded Trade to be fired.

A video from Espns Tim Macmahon Shows fans who lived a carving of Harrison with a red clown nose wallpaper for it and sang “Nico sucks.”

Fans also bought digital advertising boards in Dallas to share their dissatisfaction with the trade. On one billboard per. WFAA“He should have a statue.” Billboard also refers to the now-ironic words of Dirk Nowitzki’s statue outside the American Airlines Center: “Loyalty never fades away.”

The group of protesting fans also calls for the team to be sold. Mavericks is owned by the family to Miriam Adelson, who runs Las Vegas Sands Casino Company; Patrick Dumont, Adelson’s son -in -law, is the team governor and gave the final approval of the trade.

GM defended the trade last weekend and said he “came in front of what was supposed to be a stormy summer” by sending Dončić to Lakers. But this explanation has gone unheard of by Mavs fans. Harrison has been exposed to death threats and racing pits since trade and has had to increase the security of Mavericks’ Arena.

Now his eyes turn to Davis, who will have to prove that he is worth everything that Dallas lost. Davis who has been dealing with an abdominal injury is officially available For Saturday’s game. He got things off to a strong start and let a cry for a cruel put-back bucket in the first quarter.
