Mavericks’ PJ Washington maintains ankle damage in the Saturday meeting with rockets

Almost everything flowed smoothly for Dallas Mavericks during the first half of their Saturday meeting with Houston Rockets. Keywords: Almost.

As Dallas drove to a pleasant lead, the forward PJ Washington went to the dressing room before the break was buzzing. Mavericks then steered Washington out for the rest of Saturday’s games with A right ankle sprain.

Mavericks had the whole momentum on their side that went into the break, led 65-48 with a new frontcourt addition Anthony Davis delivered 24 points and 13 rebounds. Washington appeared for Roll his ankle as he tried to turn a fastbreak for Mavs quickly.

He limped off the field and sat briefly on the bench before heading back to the dressing room. Washington ended Saturday’s match with six points, three rebounds and three blocks.
