‘Stay f ** k out of their business!’ MSNBCS Chris Hayes hits back to Bill Maher Over Trans Kids

MSNBC host Chris Hayes told cartoon and political pundit Bill Maher That people with Trans -kids should be free to make health care decisions and everyone should “stay fuck out of their business!”

Congress member Byron Donalds (R-FL) and Puck’s Tara Palmeri were the guests of the panel.

During his interview with Hayes, Maher – Who is Obviously anti-trans – Got some rare pushback on the subject:

Chris Hayes: I think. I think that peop. I don’t think anyone has not had a moment across the political spectrum of some form of progressive communication that is either left them confused or a bit like -. “I don’t know about it.”

But I also think of the same time, there is a message of what I would call as common sense patriotic pluralism.

Bill Maher: Yes.

Chris Hayes: It’s a majority message that is like if a father and mother have healthcare for their child who is created who is trans, just be fucking out of their business!

(APPLAUSE).

Which and who let them make this decision. It’s their decision to make. And you don’t have to make it for your family. I don’t want to tell you what to do.

Bill Maher: I mean, but the argument is whether the child should make the decision.

Chris Hayes: But the child never makes the decision. The parents always make the decision. Parents consent to medical treatment.

Bill Maher: Well, here in California, you are allowed to hide it from the parents. If the child -. It is.

Chris Hayes: Yes, but.

Bill Maher: Thanks. A person who knows it.

Chris Hayes: But I mean -.

Bill Maher: Someone knows that is the case.

Chris Hayes: I think, in the vast majority. And we’ve heard from parents right now that medical treatment has been interrupted. I think there’s a way of talking about.

Bill Maher: Well, of course, they will say it’s not medical treatment. They will say that it is that they crazy a child.

Chris Hayes: I think they should mind their own business. I really do. I think they should mind their own business. And I think it’s true about a lot of things.

I think there is this sense where there was a kind of backlash policy, some of which understood, some of whom I know felt that way.

I don’t think what people wanted the female CIA agents at the CIA to be told they can’t meet once a month to celebrate previous women’s spies.

California’s law has nothing to do with medical treatment – that Prevents Schools from demanding that parents be notified if a student claims a pronoun change or other significant.
