Case against Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, Others Over Crass -Notes

A police case has been filed against Ranveer Allahbadia and others in Assam over YouTuber’s Crass comments to comedian Samay Raina’s “India’s Got Latent” show, which has given rise to massive setbacks. They have been accused of promoting indecency and participating in sexually explicit and vulgar discussion in the show.

In addition to the 31-year-old podcaster, the others named in the show, Ashish CHANCHANLANI, JASPREET SINGH, APOORVA MAKHIJA and SAMAY ROINA.

While several complaints have been filed against YouTuber, the Assam police were the first from the block to file a case. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted the move.

During his performance on the show “India’s got latent”, the social media infuCer had asked a participant, “would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or attend once and stop it forever.”

It triggered a huge rebellion and several police warehouse was filed against him.

Bombay High Court advocates Ashish Ray and Pankaj Mishra has written to Mumbai -Police Commissioner Vivek Phalsankar and State Women’s Commission and says the comments on the show constitute respect for women and must attract action.

Commentator Rahul Easwar filed a complaint that applied for a four, under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Information Technology Act. A BJP official, Nilotpal Mrinal Pandey, has filed a complaint to the Khar police in Mumbai.

Among them to criticize him was Maharashtra chief minister Devenra Fadnavis.

The show “India’s got latent”, which allows participants who show everything from poetry and magic to comedy, song and dance, have often been criticized for unparalleled comments.
