Some school districts around the Louisville metro are closed on Tuesday due to the snow showers to arrive in the area.

A Winter Storm warning is in effect until Wednesday morning, according to National Weather Service in Louisville.

Here’s what we know about plans for Jefferson County Public Schools and other school districts in the region.

JCPS continues with non -traditional instruction Tuesday due to the incoming storm system. Students had an unconventional instruction (NTI) Day Monday due to an increase in absence from illness.

Schools will be closed and students will have a synchronous elearning day from home, the school district’s officials announced on Monday afternoon.

Officials with Oldham County Schools announced that the district will switch to unconventional instruction on Tuesday.

Students in Bullitt County Public Schools have a NTI day Tuesday, District officials advertised. Schools will be closed.

Officials with Shelby County Public Schools have not yet announced whether schools will be closed on Tuesday.

Spencer County Public Schools has not yet announced whether schools will be closed on Tuesday, but Superintendent Willie Foster said students, staff and families should prepare for a potential NTI day.

Larger Clark County schools will be closed on Tuesday, the district announced. Students have a synchronous elearning day.

Clarksville Community Schools students will be on a remote learning plan on Tuesday due to “the timing of expected winter weather and the potential for dangerous road conditions,” a district spokesman said in a statement.

Officials with Kentucky School for The Blind have not yet announced whether schools will be closed on Tuesday. Students had a nti day Monday Due to an increase in staff and students’ illness.

Officials with the Archdiocese of Louisville have not yet announced whether schools will be closed on Tuesday.

The University of Louisville has not yet announced whether campuses will be closed on Tuesday.

The University of Kentucky has not yet announced whether campuses will be closed on Tuesday.

Bellarmine University has not yet announced whether Campus will be closed on Tuesday.

Spalding University has not yet announced whether Campus will be closed Tuesday.

Simmon’s College of Kentucky has not yet announced if Campus will be closed Tuesday.
