Steph Curry Doubtful, Giannis Antetokounmpo Out for Warriors – Bucks

Golden State Warriors continues their long road trip with a visit to one of the Eastern Conference most exciting teams: The Milwaukee Bucks. But while Warriors get to see Milwaukee’s newest player, Kyle Kuzma, it won’t be quite the star-studded affair that everyone hoped for as superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is out while the whole world’s point guards Steph Curry and Damian Lillard are questionable.

Here is the full injury -report.

Warriors

Out – Jonathan Kuminga (Right ankle Splace)

Warriors revealed some surprising news today: Kuminga is not returning before this weekend’s all-star break. I guess there’s still a good chance we’ll see him in the first game after the break when Warrior’s caps out of a seven-game road stretch with a visit northeast to go on Sacramento Kings.

Questionable – Steph Curry (left quad tenderness)

Warriors have three road matches in four days to finish the first half of the season, so you can expect them to be careful with Curry. Hopefully, however, he is able to play.

Bucks

Out – Giannis Antetokounmpo (left calf stem)

Antetokounmpo is out for a while, which is a tough blow for a Bucks team trying to avoid falling to the play-in tournament. He will also miss the All-Star game, which is a bummer. Earlier today, Trae Young was appointed Antetokounmpo’s replacement.

Questionable – Damian Lillard (right hamstring tenderness)

This game became much less interesting with Antetokounmpo sidelined, as Draymond Green and Jimmy Butler maybe the two players I most enjoy watching Play Defense on Giannis. But it will be even less interesting if Curry and Lillard are unable to walk.

Questionable – Pat Connaughton (left calf strain)

Connughton, who is somehow already in his 10th NBA season, has had a solid year, but has missed the last two matches.

Likely – Brook Lopez (Right Shoulder Contusion)

If we assume that Lopez is able to play, we get quite a big-man-shooting-threes showdown between Han and Quinten Post!

Enjoy the action, DUB Nation!
