Arizona Plane Crash: At least one death and more wounded after a private jet crashed into another on arrival

At least one person is dead and several wounded after a medium -sized business beam crashed into another jet when it arrived at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona on Monday afternoon.

One person died and four were injured, Scottsdale said four Department Captain David Folio. Two were led to local trauma centers while being treated later and a refused treatment.

The Learjet 35A aircraft, arriving from Austin, Texas, turned out of the runway and collided with a parked Gulfstream G200 Jet, Scottsdale Airport Public Information Officer Kelli Kuester said at a Monday news conference.

“It seems that the left main equipment failed at landing, which resulted in the accident,” Kuester said.

According to Kuester, the National Transportation Safety Board is on site and is looking for the investigation of the incident, according to Kuester.

The federal aviation administration confirmed in a statement that “A Learjet 35A turned out of the runway after landing and crashed into a Gulfstream 200 -business straw do not know how many people were on board. ”
