Plan on heavy, stable rain showers on Tuesday. At times we see softening of rainfall, but no severe weather is expected. Several centimeters of rain are expected and can cause localized flooding areas.

On Wednesday, more showers are expected, but there will be some breaks in the rain. The heaviest rainfall probably arrives in the evening. By Thursday morning, most of the Midstate will have received 3-5 ″ rainfall.

Thursday morning starts with temperatures in the 30s. High temperatures peak in the upper 30s to the lower 40s.

We start warming up again until the end of the week and into the weekend. By Friday, heights are back to the low 50s with some sunshine.

Next weekend

Temperatures on Saturday will climb back in the top 50s, but scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected. This can bring us another 1-2 ″ rain on top of rainfall in the middle of the week, which can result in further flood problems as the soil will be saturated.

The lingering moisture behind a cold front can cause lingering showers on Sunday along with some wet snowflakes that are sometimes mixed. Heights for most of the midstate on Sunday will be in the top 30s.
