Atlanta, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – widespread heavy rain has asked for First Alarm Weather Days Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Another storm system brings storms early Sunday, another First Alarm Weather Day.

Sprinkler is already moving into North Georgia. Scattered light rain has already moved into Father North Georgia tonight, and this cover is sliding further south for the next few hours. Plan for humid weather across the entire subway by 2 or 3 am

Tuesday begins with wet weather and cool temperatures. Plan on wet roads through the morning commuting. Rain will be light and scattered, but it could slow down the morning drive.

Tuesday will be a humid day overall over the north ge organ with occasional rain showers through the late afternoon. Heavier rain builds in from northwestern Georgia in early evening. It will be softening for dinner and other evening plans; Rained along and northwest of the I-85 corridor. Rain is expanded through Tuesday night.

Wednesday is shaped up to be the wettest day. Many of us will wake up to stable and sometimes heavy, rain on Wednesday morning. Rain can be heavy enough to cause some street and road flooding. A few rumbles of thunder are possible Wednesday.

A severe weather line moves on Wednesday night. Torrential rain, windy wind and occasional lightning will accompany this line. The risk of severe weather is quite low but not zero. Keep severe weather warnings lit “turned on” in the first alarm weather -app, just in case.

One last batch of rain moves through early Thursday morning. It will be another slow trip to work and school early Thursday. Plan to improve conditions through the middle of the morning. It’s going to be a pleasant Thursday night.

Between Tuesday morning and Thursday morning, the immediate Metro Atlanta detects widespread 2 ″ -4 ″ rain. Heavier rainfall satals are expected throughout the North Metro, up the mountains where more than 5 ″ rain can fall into a few communities.

A strong cold front is approaching North Georgia on Saturday night to Sunday morning. A number of rain and storms will accompany the front. A few strong or serious storms are possible early Sunday.
