Paul Rudd, Tim Robinson Try to tie in A24 movie

Paul Rudd and Tim Robinson are aware that some people are not intended to be besties in the trailer for the A24 comedy Friendship.

Author-Instructor Andrew Deyoung’s feature is set to hit theaters in May from A24 after premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival as part of the Midnight Madness program. Kate Mara, Jack Dylan Grazer, Josh Segarra and Billy Bryk end the role crew. Friendship Center about Craig (Robinson), whose attempt to connect with neighbor Austin (Rudd) risks ruining both of their lives.

“Look, we had a couple of really good hangs, but I think it’s best if we go our separate ways,” Rudd tells Robinson in the trailer. “I don’t want to continue this friendship.”

Later, Robinson expresses his own frustrations. “You all accepted me too quickly,” he says. “You can’t do it.”

Servant as producers are Johnny Holland, JD Lifshitz, Raphael Margules and Nick Weidenfeld. Friendship’S world premiere took place on TIFF on September 8, 2024.

Rudd co -starred in last year’s Ghostbusters: Frozen Empireand he can be seen later in the year in the features Death of a unicorn and Anaconda.
