Montgomery, Fairfax County Public Schools and others closed Wednesday – NBC4 Washington

As snow began to throw a thicker blanket over the DC region, closures to Wednesday (11 February) begin to enter. Here’s what has been called so far for the larger area:

Maryland:

Montgomery County Public Schools And offices are closed on Wednesday. All activities, field travel, athletic practice and events are canceled. Childcare programs and activities in the community are also canceled. Emergency personnel must report on time.

Virginia:

Alexandria City Public Schools Want synchronous virtual learning for students and a virtual work day for staff, with personal places closed. Parents and Guardians can find information about tomorrow’s virtual learning plan plus bad weather meal distribution, On ACPS ‘site here.

Culpeper County Schools will be closed on Wednesday. Twelve-month employees should not report. Significant staff and custodians must report at 1 p.m.

Fairfax County Public Schools And offices are closed tomorrow. Extra curricular activities, team practice, field trips and other activities and programs will also be canceled. Homebound and home -based instruction canceled. Significant staff must follow their supervisory direction. Emergency Administrative leave is authorized to all other staff.

Fauquier County Public Schools And offices are closed on Wednesday. All activities are canceled. Significant staff must report at 1 p.m. 11

Fredericksburg Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday.

Stafford County Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday. All activities and events are canceled. The staff must be telecommunications work as tasks allow.

Spotsylvania County Schools And the office will be closed Wednesday. All school sponsored activities, including students externalships, are canceled tomorrow. School employees: Code 1 – Essential staff must report on performing relief as needed.

Stafford County Schools will be closed on Wednesday. All activities and events scheduled for tomorrow are canceled.
