Premier League High-Flyers Nottingham Forest Fighted past 10-man Exeter City 4-2 on sanctions to reach the fifth round of the FA Cup after being 2-2 of their third level opponents.

Forest, started the night with a second-string side in St. James Park, will now host the Top Flight Rivals Ipswich Town in the fifth round in March.

The lowest ranked club, which was left in the competition, gave the third-placed top flight a hard time-to take a fifth minute lead before going down 2-1 and then fighting back to finish the second half.

Exeter’s ED-turn was shown a straight red card in the 87th minute for a high challenge on the second half of replacement Morgan Gibbs White.

Forest that made 10 changes to the side that beat Brighton & Hove Albion 7-0 in their previous Premier League match, had Nigeria Striker Taiwo Awoniyi treated on the track and taken off on a stretcher in the second half stopping time.
