The snow has officially begun and with it comes on Tuesday afternoon closures and Wednesday morning delays.

Sussex and Kent counties entered into a winter storm warning that started at. 13 Tuesday. New Castle County is under a winter weather advice that starts at 1 p.m. 16 Tuesday.

Here’s what’s closed and delayed Tuesday to Wednesday.

New Castle County

  • City of Newark: Essential employees who are not emergency will be dismissed at. 16.00 City offices will open again at. 10 Wednesday.
  • New Castle County -Libraries: Closed at. 15 Tuesday and gets a two-hour delay on Wednesday.
  • New Castle County -Government: Closed at. 15 for non-emergency situations of essential staff and will have a two-hour delay on Wednesday.
  • University of Delaware: No personal instruction is held on Wednesday. Significant staff must report to work Wednesday as planned. Non -essential employees must work externally on Wednesday and not report to Campus. Transport services will be suspended so far, which begins at 1 p.m. 20 Tuesday.

  • Lake Forest School District Will have remote learning Wednesday.

Sussex County

  • Cape Henlopen School District Advertised it will perform asynchronous learning on Wednesday.
  • Georgetown Public Library: Closing at. 17
  • Indian River School District is closed Wednesday. Optional online learning resources are available on the district website at Irsd.net. While the staff should not report to buildings, depotmen and administrators must have to. Predictors should await instructions from their bosses and building administrators.
  • Laurel School District: No activities after school.
  • Milford School District: Milford School District Will have a remote learning Wednesday.
  • Seaford School District: No activities after school on Tuesday. The district will be closed Wednesday and students participate in remote learning activities.

The winter storm is expected to interrupt dart services.

For the most part, service in New Castle County is expected to act as planned with the exception of route 301 and route 302, which is not working in the evening, the transit service said in a statement.

Bus connection in Sussex County stops operating around 1 p.m. 18 and 18.30 in Kent County.

Paratransit is scheduled to function normally, which gives neighborhoods available while the service stops running at 1 p.m. 18 in Kent and Sussex counties.
