MCNELEY SCORE 38 points to lead Uconn past No. 24 Creighton 70-66 for first win in Omaha

Omaha, Neb.-Liam McNeeley scored a season high 38 points and had 10 rebounds, and Uconn overcame a 14-point deficit late in the first half to finish No. 24 Creighton’s victory trait with a 70-66 victory Tuesday night.

Alex Karaban’s floater in the field broke back a 65-altogether with 1:44, and Huskies (17-7, 9-4 Big East) won for the first time on five trips to Omaha since Rightoining Big East in 2020.
