2025 Kansas State Men’s Basketball: Game 24 Vs Arizona

Your Kansas State Wildcats will return to action one day early this week, which Arizona Wildcats Make their first trip to Bramlage Coliseum and their first trip to Manhattan since 1981.

Interestingly, both of these troops fought mighty in the early part of the season, and both went into the start of conference games of 6-5 overall. Now Desert Cats’ schedule was significantly harder than Prairie Cats, but the total records gave each fanbase heartburn.

Arizona turned things much faster than K-State and has lost only one game in the BIG 12 game, at Texas Tech, and sits on 17-6 overall and tied on top of Big 12 on 11-1 in league games. Tied with a Houston team they play this weekend, which can give a small advantage for seaweed.

K-State (12-11, 6-6 Big 12) took until the end of January to get things turned on, but over the last five games, a very nice winning row, Tangcats have played as one of the country’s best team. If they can continue to play on this clip, K-State could be in a position like a solid NCAA tournament.

But it’s Big 12 and nothing is easy. Arizona is very good, and their front court, like KUs, causes k-state problems. Zonacats are preferred and rightly. But this is a game that Tangcats could easily steal for another huge Q1 victory.

Like much of the last five games, let’s just hang on the trip and see what’s happening.
