Several first alarms in place for this week for Charlotte Metro due to widespread rain

Charlotte, NC (WBTV) – colder temperatures returned today, but the real changes arrive tonight. A winter mix and rain begins to fall after midnight.

If you live up in the mountains – you need to be prepared for a mixture of snow, gossip and freezing rain.

  • Tuesday Morning: FA: Upper 30s, cloudy, spotted showers, mountain sweat
  • Tuesday: FA: Make 40s, widespread rain is rising, cloudy
  • Wednesday: FA: Mid -40s, widespread rain rises, cloudy
  • Thursday: FA: Mid -60s, rain falls all morning, the afternoon sun

This has given out winter alarms for the area throughout Wednesday. As we progress throughout the week, the rainfall will go into rain.

If you live in Mecklenburg, be ready for a cold rain over the next few days. This will sometimes be widespread and can cause flooding of genes. If you know some areas that are prone to flooding or lady, be careful.

The good news is that we clear out in time for Valentine’s Day. Temperatures will be on the cool side – but at least we have dry conditions under mainly sunny sky.

The rain will return this weekend when we manage to several first alarm days.
