A case of deja vu sounds nice to Detroit Pistons. For Chicago Bulls, it is something to avoid at all costs.

After duning the host Bulls 132-92 on Tuesday, Detroit in Chicago will play again on Wednesday in the team’s pre-all-star-break finale.

Piston’s coach JB Bickerstaff embraces the challenge that lies ahead of us and predicts a response from a Bull’s team that has lost four equal and six of the last eight.

“They are a team that has pride that has talented NBA players,” he said, “so they come out ready (Wednesday). … (our) Focus should be, ‘Can we double this up?’ Can we get out with the same focus, the same mindset, to carry that momentum?

Bulls -Modpart Billy Donovan called his team’s effort “embarrassing.” Chicago pulled 71-29 at the break. The 42-point Gulf matched the biggest deficit during the break in the Bulls story and was Pistons’ biggest lead at break all the time.

At night, the pistons shot 53.1 percent from the floor, including 43.9 percent (18 of 41) from 3-point range. Bulls earned 35.0 percent of their field target attempts and were 10 of 47, 21.3 percent from a long distance.

“We’re ready to go from the jump (Wednesday),” said Bulls’ Josh Gidde.

Detroit rose to his third equal victory behind big nights from Malik Beasley (24 points) and Cade Cunningham (20). Beasley shot 7-for-10 beyond the arch. His last trey was his 212. In the season and created a single-season-franchise record of only 54 team matches.

“It’s fantastic,” said Detroit’s Ausar Thompson. “To see how much he works, he is in the gym first every day to get shots up.”

Rookie Matas Buzelis led Bulls with 12 points on Tuesday and ended in double for the seventh consecutive game.

The 11th total election in the NBA draft in 2024 has seen accelerated starts and minutes in the middle of injuries and the team’s recent trade in leading goal scorer Zach Lavine to Sacramento, but Buzelis is working to keep a steady cool regardless of his workload.

“To me it doesn’t matter,” Buzelis said. “No matter what role Billy tells me to play, I will do it. I start now, but it may change forward. It doesn’t matter to me.”

Detroit earned at least one division of the season series four-game with Chicago and can claim it directly with a win on Wednesday.

Bulls have won or split five consecutive season series with their central division rivals, but the stamps have put the strip in danger behind Solid Inside Play.

Detroit scored 60 points in the paint on Tuesday after a total of 80 in a 127-119 home victory against Chicago on February 2nd.

Giddy, who followed Buzelis with 11 points on Tuesday, has scored in double in six straight matches against pistons.

Beasley has beaten at least five 3-Pointers against Chicago in each of the team’s three meetings this season.

Detroits Jalen Duren, who snagged a game-high 11 rebounds on Tuesday, has recorded double-digit rebounds in eight straight matches against Bulls.

Chicago -Guard Lonzo Ball is expected to play after missing the Tuesday match due to a disease and left knee injury control.
