Significant snowfall is expected to hit the whole Michigan’s lower peninsula, which starts Wednesday and continues into Thursday morning.

The whole lower michigan is either during a winter weather advice or winter storm warning, As per National Weather Service.

Advice and warnings are in effect from 1 p.m. 13 Wednesday to 7 p.m. 7 Thursday.

Just before 7 p.m. 8 NWS predicted sneak cumulations in Metro Detroit between 3 and 6 inches.

There is also a potential for isaccumulations of approx. 0.1 inches from freezing and rain in Wayne Washtenaw, Lenawee and Monroe counties. Wednesday night and Thursday morning commuter will be affected by the weather, according to NWS.
