This round of winter weather is quickly ending. Light freezing drip is still possible tonight. This, along with melting snow that will relinquish, could create icy conditions. Temperatures have already fallen back during freezing, so once it gets dark use caution.

A mostly cloudy sky will last tonight to clear around sunrise Thursday. Low temperatures fall to the low teens. Gusty Vind will drop the wind chills to almost zero. A mostly sunny but cold day is expected on Thursday. High temperatures are heated to about 30 degrees.

Very strong wind develops on Friday. Wind throw could reach 30 km / h. This will push in hot air. The cloud cover is also returning in the afternoon. High temperatures can reach the low 40s.

The very strong winds stay around on Saturday and can be even stronger. Rain breaks out early in the day mainly south of I-44. Additional rain is possible in the afternoon as a storm approaches from the west. Cold air on the back of the storm can change the rain over to a period of snow. Snowfall amounts are expected to be an inch or less. Quick cooling can also create some black ice so we keep the first alarm. The problem area remains north of I-44.

Very cold air then arrives on Sunday. Morning readings can dip back into teens with high temperatures only in the mid -20s. Cloudy sky is expected in the morning and should be partially overcast during the afternoon. Monday looks like a quiet day of high temperatures in the 30s.

The next storm is then aiming for Ozarks Tuesday to Wednesday. For the time being, we are holding onto a first alarm until the result becomes a little clearer. However, this storm has the potential to bring a significant round winter weather to least parts of Ozarks. Keep an eye on!
