“The masked singer” returns for his 13th and “Most unhinged“Season yet.

The top secret celebrity song competition will be back on Fox Wednesday for another round of participants hiding their identity with detailed expensive costumes.

This year, panelists Robin Thicke and Rita Ora will stay with Season 12-Runner-Up Mario, which was revealed to be WASP, for a performance of “Get Lucky” to kick the season out. The season also remembers franchises, including Shrek, Rat Pack, Ghostbusters and 100th anniversary of Grand Ole Opry, among others.

This time, 15 celebrities will compete for the most evasive and sought after award in Hollywood, Golden Mask Trophy. A new costumed character that goes after “Detective Lucky Duck” helps panelists “reveal who is behind each mask.”

What is ‘The Masked Singer’?

“The Masked Singer” is a “top secret singing competition where celebrities turn against each other while shrouded from head to toe in a detailed costume that hides his or her identity,” according to Fox.

The host, panelists, other participants, audiences and viewers at home are left to guess who the celebrity behind the mask is with each performance.

Celebrity competitions can try to throw away everyone, but small clues are buried throughout the show. The identity of these celebrities is not revealed until they are removed. And eliminations happen every week.

Only a celebrity competition, the one who kept their identity a secret, stays standing at the end of the show and is ultimately crowned to the winner. R&B Group Boyz II men were crowned to the winners of season 12, and Vanessa Hudgens won the season before that.

Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy and Robin Thicke, who have all served as panelists since the show debuted, returned to the stage for season 13.

Rita Ora, relatively new to performance, took over for Nicole Scherzinger in 2020, and Nick Cannon continues to act as the show’s Emcee.

But this season is the panelists along with “Detective Lucky Duck”, which is intended to help with the musical guess game. The identity of the person in the DUCK costume will remain a secret.
