Lakers’ G-League star Bronny James along with the previous No. 8 total elections via trading

Los Angeles Lakers’ G-League affiliated South Bay Lakers has seen a productive last couple of matches from the total overall election in 2024 NBA Draft Bronny James, though it was revealed that he would Miss some time with a left forearm muscle strain.

The 6-foot-2 guard had found a groove in G-League, an average of 17.3 points, 4.1 assists and 1.6 steal in 12 performances for the club so far this season. In his latest competition against Valley Suns Friday before the injury, James scored a game high 28 points in a 122-104 win.

While he has not been able to stick to an NBA franchise for a long time, Johnson is an elite, effective scores in G-League, an average of 14.2 points and 5.3 rebounds while connecting 41.1 % of its 4.7 three-point trials in 31 competitions for Stockton Kings in 2023-24.

By joining James in South Bay, the two could end up spending their time warming up before a possible call to the main list, as 2025 NBA final games inches closer.
