Rui Hachimura struck in with 19 points and three rebounds. Dalton Knecht had 10 points that went three for seven behind the arch. Bronny James scored a funny nine points towards the end of the fourth.

As we’ve seen the last couple of matches, Jaxson Hayes started things with a thump on the assistant from Austin. Luka dazzled the amount by fake a passport and then sending the ball to Rui draining a 3-pointer.

LA had taken the lead, but Utah began to break down Los Angeles’ defense of light dunks in the paint to take the lead.

Luka drove to the basket for a layup, his first game point, after missing his first two 3-Pointers. Jazz played with much more of a spring in their steps compared to the previous meeting between both teams.

Luka knocked one of its signature step-back 3-Pointers. Then the latest lacquer, Alex Len, got his first dunk attempt blocked by Walker Kessler. After all the trade Hoopla, Dalton got his lacquer back by draining a 3-pointer.

At the end of the first, Utah was up with three.

Utah began the second quarter and extended their lead by four. LeBron then knocked down one of his fadeaway shots. Austin missed his fifth attempt behind the arch. Finally, he scored some points as he stole the ball and took it to the basket of a fastbreak for a can.

Luka checked back and immediately scored on a light set up. Both teams shot 40% off the field.

The jazz was on a four-minute scoring of drought until the Lauri Markkanen drained a 3-pointer. Utah jumped in front of an 8-0 race until Luka immediately stopped it by converting on a three-point game.

LA was desperate for some points, and Luka answered with a 3-pointer, but it didn’t matter when Lakers looked like a team as a team. LeBron scored six quick points. Rui then scored five points.

Just as it looked as if Lakers started getting speed, drained Utah’s keyonte George one three. Jazz was up eight at the break.

Isaiah Collier started the second half by driving to the basket for a layup, and Luka hit back with a 3-pointer. Lauri’s violation still cooked with another 3-pointer. Jaxson suffered a face contusion and would be out for the rest of the game, which meant Alex would have a bigger role in this half.

LA will have to tighten up their defense and start scoring more consistently if they want to get this victory. The jazz destroyed Lakers on the boards with 40 rebounds to 30. Utah went on an 11-0 scoring race to give themselves more pillow on their lead.

The rest of the third quarter happened and jazz rose big into the final frame. LA began the fourth and tried to mount a comeback, but they did not succeed and the white flag was waved with under eight minutes back in the game.
