Lakers losing second game with Luka Dončić as Frontcourt issues tissue without Anthony Davis

Los Angeles Lakers began Luka Dončić’s tenure with a win and then followed it up with a loss Wednesday, broke a six-match winning row, leaving them some questions to answer.

Utah Jazz defeated Lakers 131-119, although the more notable number was a 54-36 point in the disagreement of the paint. By replacing Anthony Davis for Dončić, the team left the team briefly on a large man of high quality, a topic that the Mark Williams trade should treat until Laker’s scraped trade due to medical reasons.

It left Lakers with two rotation-worthy traditional big men who came in Wednesday: Jaxson Hayes and Alex Len, the latter of which was signed in the buyout market the day before. Hayes left the game Wednesday with a face contusion after playing seven minutes. Len posted four points on 2-of-5 shooting with seven rebounds in 23 minutes.

Landing Dončić was undoubtedly a coup for Lakers because of how 25-year-old All-NBA-First-Teamer transforms their long-term views, but in the short term they have to figure out how to get their current Big man to work.

Dončić finished the game with 16 points on 6-of-13 shooting, four assists, four rebounds and five revenue.
