Bucks 103-101 Timberwolves (February 12, 2025) Game Recap

Minneapolis-Kyle Kuzma had 19 points and 13 rebounds, and Milwaukee Bucks won without the All-Stars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard and beat Minnesota Timberwolves 103-101 Wednesday night.

Anthony Edwards’ jumper in the final seconds was off Minnesota, and Kuzma – who played his fourth game for Milwaukee after acquiring Washington – came down with rebound.

Gary Trent Jr., who went to high school in a twin suburb, had 21 points from the bench for Bucks in their last match before the All-Star break. They had lost six of eight.

Antetokounmpo missed his sixth straight battle due to a strained left calf, and Lillard was rested due to a strained right hamstring.

Edwards scored 28 points for Minnesota, but shot 10 of 33 from the field and 4 of 16 from 3-point territory. At one point, Edwards missed 15 straight shots. Rudy Gobert added 20 points and 14 rebounds, Naz Reid had 22 points and 13 rebounds.

Minnesota was without Mike Conley (right index finger), Ditte Divincenzo (left large toe enlargement) and Julius Randle (right groin strain).

Timberwolves: Another slow start and hard shooting night for Minnesota led to yet another disappointing loss.
