3 statistics from after Dallas Mavericks beat the Golden State Warriors, 111-107

After a severe loss for the kings in their last match, Dallas Maverick’s Jimmy Butler consisted the version of Golden State Warriors111-107.

It was an impressive view from a team that was still juggling with their list after the deadline, and due to injuries that played without any center to talk about. They were surpassed by 11 and abandoned 18 offensive boards, but still did enough to get away with a win.

40+: Protocols the game and points scored by Kyrie Irving

Irving has had some pearls so far this season, but all too often it feels like they have come from losing its efforts. Not tonight. His 42-point effort gave Mavs just enough to hold a fourth-quarter rally from the Golden State and secure a narrow victory at home.

The 32-year-old guard has been Dallas’ Iron Man this season, and especially since the deadline, Kyrie has set in minutes. He average well over 40 minutes played per Night since the deadline when Dallas tries to get healthy.

6: Games in a row that scores 15 or more for Max Christie

Maybe no player has gone from unheard of throw to fan favorite faster than Max Christie. His last game in a Laker jersey was the start of his current scoring stretch, but the next five have all come as a Maverick, including the evening’s 17-point effort.

Christie got her first start tonight, probably a combination of setting down in Dallas’ scheme and their need for warm bodies. Still, he has done nothing to show that he does not deserve a place in the starting lineup so far. It would be difficult to find a mistake in how the newly 22-year-old guard player.

33: Warrior’s second chance

As mentioned, Dallas is eagerly waiting for the return of, yes, any center at this time. Dereck Lively II, Daniel Gafford and Dwight Powell are all sidelines, and the lack of size showed tonight. Despite historically poor shooting on the edge of the NBA since 2013-and a blood-red shot diagram, Warrior’s Dallas punished on the boards and thus in the second chance. A rotating door of 6’7 wings is lovely and all, but no one will complain about a certain size returning to the guard schedule soon.
