Clippers use big third quarter to defeat Grizzlies as Bogdan Bogdanovic debuts

What started as a back and forth match between Mowers, There has one of NBA’s best defenses, and Memphis Grizzlies, which has the league’s top violation, was decided by Clippers ’36-points third quarter, which led them to a 128-114 Victory Wednesday night at the Intuit Dome.

Clippers, led by Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, saw their leading wave to as many as 23 points in the third, too big for Grizzlies, who played without yes morant.

Leonard played a season high 34 minutes and scored 25 points with five rebounds and four assists. Harden added an almost triple-double, scoring 18 points with 10 assists and eight rebounds.

A three-pointer in the third quarter gave Harden its 26,974. point and moved him to lone possession of 13. On the NBAs All-time scoring list, Surpasses Hakeem Olajuwon.

While Grizzlies entered the game boasting the highest scoring offense in the league (123.5 ppg), they were without their superstar guards and forced them to look elsewhere after offense. The two-time all-star, which an average of 20.7 points, 7.4 assists and 4.3 rebounds, was excluded just before the tipoff due to the tenderness of the knee.

This absence turned out to be the downfall of Grizzlies, as Clippers – ranked as third in points that were abandoned per. Battle (107.8) and steal (9.4) – exploited bad matchups and strangled Memphis’ violation.

One of the league’s biggest defensive teams, Clippers had 17 steals, forced 21 revenue and scored 41 points from those, all of whom played a significant role in keeping grizzlies below their season average.

Before the game, Clippers -coach Tyronn Lue said he would insert Guard Kris Dunn into the starting lineup to relieve the pressure that Grizzlies presented with offense. This step was a boost for Clippers, with Dunn – who replaced Derrick Jones Jr. – Delivered its biggest scoring production in the season.

Dunn ended with 14 points and set a season high over the arch, making all four of its three-point shots.

He played a productively productive game and added five assists, five steals and three rebounds.

Bogdan Bogdanovic debuted at Clippers after arriving from Atlanta Hawks at the trade deadline. The three-point specialist spiked his first three-point attempt at a lot of fanfare.

However, Serbia played only 18 minutes and scored seven points.

Norman Powell added 18 points, while Ivica Zubac contributed a double double with 13 rebounds and 12 points.

Clippers (30-23) are now 2½ games behind Lakers in the Pacific Division with a game back before the All-Star break. They face the jazz in Utah on Thursday night.

Ben Simmons is expected to debut. He sat out to recondition and missed the first game in Clippers’ back-to-back set after signing them this week, the 28-year-old is looking forward to playing the backup point guard for his new team.
