In the team’s slide, injuries were one of the primary contributing factors. All-Star Center Alperen Sengun missed part of games at the beginning of the losing streak and peace van the last more. Other notable injuries through the latest stretch of games include Jabari Smith Jr. – There have been sidelines for weeks due to a hand injury – as well as Tari Eason and Steven Adams lack games here and there.

Now Houston will appear to be in the victory column leading up to All-Star Break, which will not be easy as it will face similar ranked West enemies in Phoenix and the rolling Golden State. The team’s health could very well determine its record to break.
