Lainy Wilson engaged with Devlin Hodges

Lainy Wilson is officially a fiancé!

Country Star announced his commitment to Devlin “Duck” Hodges in a February 12 Instagram post.

“4x4xu forever,” she wrote in the caption, referring to a single from her 2024 -studio album, “Whirlwind.”

Wilson, 32, shared romantic photos of her and her husband to be on the stairs in a picturesque brick building.

She also included a playful video of herself holding up her arm, as if she had trouble lifting her significant new spark.

Back in September, Wilson joked that she would be weighed down by her future engagement ring.

“I don’t care what form it is, but I want to go with a limp,” she said at “Land heat weekly” Podcast.

“Duck listens to this goes ‘Oh Gosh, Oh Gosh, Oh Gosh.’ Better go and get you a loan, baby! “She said with a laugh.

Several of Wilson’s country singers congratulated her in the comments, including Miranda Lambert, who summarized her enthusiasm with a word: “Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.”

Country singer Lauren Alaina also congratulated the happy couple and wrote, “We love you two so much.”

“She’s going with a limp yall. Congratulations you two, ”commented Singer-Songwriter Kaitlin Butts too.

Wilson and Hodges, 28, have been together since 2021 and debuted their red carpet at the American Country Music Awards in 2023.

Devlin Hodges is a real estate agent and former NFL quarterback.

He signed with Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019 and later played for Los Angeles Rams.

In 2021, he signed with Ottawa Redblacks from the Canadian football league before announcing his retirement from the sport the following year.

Wilson explained that he served the nickname “Duck” in his early days as a football player.

“His college -football coach was like,” You’re one of the best quarterbacks I’ve ever worked with and you remind me a lot of one of my favorite quarterbacks I got a job with many years ago and we called him duck, ”“ She said at “Bobby Bones Show” in 2023. “And then he and the team just started to call him duck.”

His nickname is also appropriate because Hodges is an avid Duck Hunter, and often shares photos from his expeditions on Instagram.
