Watch ‘SNL’ Stars participating ‘Today’ Show like Jenna Bush Hager’s Cohosts this week

Saturday Night Live going down Today.

Five Snl Role members – both past and present – join Jenna Bush Hager at Today with Jenna & Friends As a guest hosting this week: Amy Poehler, Ana Gasteyer, Mikey Day, Cheri Oteri and Chloe Fineman. Comedian performance on Today comes just before SNL50: Anniversary Special On Sunday.

Hager advertised the news Last week with current Snl Role member ego nwodim by her side as a guest host. “We’ve had so much fun to hang out with one Snl Star, “Said Hager about his time with” Lisa from the Temecula “star.” In celebrating the 50th anniversary of Snl All week next week we know it, so we thought, ‘Let’s invite our friends.’ ”

Hager has been accompanied by a number of celebrity guest hosts since her former Cohost, Hoda Kotb, left the show in January. Taraji P. Henson, Eva Longoria, Keke Palmer and Michelle Buteeau reported everyone for guest-hosting duty the week after Kotb’s ending, while Scarlett Johansson filled out for a full week on the show during week 2.

The third Kotb-less week watched four musicians join the chin on the show: Kelsea Ballerini, Kimberly Schlapman, Ciara and Wynonna Judd. And Nwodim guest hosted all week 4 last week.

Poehler’s episode will be released Monday, Gasteyer will appear on Tuesday, Day will host Wednesday, Oteri arrives on Thursday, and Fineman will end the week on Friday.

The Today lineup is only one of several ways NBC celebrates Snl‘S 50 -year anniversary. Friday will see SNL50: Homecoming concert Arrived at Radio City Music Hall, with an All-Star setting of past Snl Musical guests performing, including Lady Gaga, David Byrne, Miley Cyrus, Bad Bunny, The Roots, Devo, Dave Grohl, B-52s and Post Malone.

The main event, however, is Sunday’s three-hour live special, SNL50: Anniversary Special. It is safe to expect dozens of remarkable Snl Alums appear on the show, just as they did on 2015’s 40 -year anniversary special. NBC has also announced a host of former hosts who will be involved in Special, including Tom Hanks, Robert de Niro, Dave Chappelle, Kim Kardashian, Steve Martin, Ayo Edebiri, Pedro Pascal and Adam Driver.

In addition, two documentary projects are celebrating 50 years Snl already premiered on peacock: the four -tent series SNL50: In addition to Saturday nightThere is exploring the process of casting, writing and performing on the show with over 60 interviewees; and My ladies and gentlemen … 50 years of SNL -MusicA feature length DOC that highlights some of the show’s most important musical guests.
