Tennessee Mother Megan Boswell found guilty of having murdered his 13 -month -old daughter Evelyn

A Tennessee -jury found a Mother guilty To murder his daughter.

Megan Boswell was convicted on Thursday morning in the killing of 13 -month -old Evelyn Boswell.

Jury considerations began Wednesday after completing arguments wrapped.

During the trial, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Senior Special Agent Brian Fraley testified that law enforcement received a phone call from Tommy Boswell, Megan’s father, to seek family property on Muddy Creek Road in Blountville.

On the property, Fraley and other officers sought what they described as a “playhouse”. Inside the structure, investigators found several objects, including a white trash. Inside, investigators found the body of Evelyn Boswell.

Her body was wrapped in a blanket and aluminum foil. Fraley says it looked like Evelyn’s body was “pushed” into the trash.

The defense claimed that the medical examiner could not rule out that Evelyn could have died of sudden infant death syndrome or another medical condition. Sids is the sudden and inexplicable death of an infant that usually happens during sleep.

“She can’t meet the truth about what she’s done,” said Deputy District Attorney William Harper. “She can’t meet what she has done to that child – discard her as a piece of garbage.”

Evelyn was reported missing in February 2020. The following month, Evelyn’s remains were found on a family member’s property.

Boswell was found guilty of all 19 charges she was facing:

  • First degree murder
  • Crime murder (worsening abuse of children)
