Kate Middleton and Prince William Share PDA -Smile in Rare Valentine’s Day Post

Kate Middleton and Prince William feel the love of Valentine’s Day!

On Friday, February 14, the prince and the princess of Wales marked the day in a rare move by placing a photo of itself that shares a romantic PDA moment on social media.

The picture was overwritten with a single Red Love Heart Emoji. It was first released by the royal couple in September 2024 as part of an emotional video announcing that Kate, 43, had completed her chemotherapy treatment after her cancer diagnosis earlier this year.

The cute picture shows the couple holding hands like William, 42, kissing Kate on the cheek as she laughs. It seemed to be trapped in a wooded area where the duo was seen on a brown picnic rug.

The three -minute clip was shot in August by Will Warr in Norfolk, where Kate and William reside in their country Home Anmer Hall with their three children: Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9 and Prince Louis, 6.

Kate and William have become more vocal with their public exhibitions of love on social media in the last year. In a social media post in June 2024 for William’s birthday, Kate wrote: “We love you all so much!” William then reciprocated on January 9 last month with a personal birthday message to Kate for her 43rd birthday. “To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you’ve shown in the past year has been remarkable. George, Charlotte, Louis and I are so proud of you … We love you,” he wrote.

“William must feel so lucky that Kate has come through this, that he will tell the world about that love. It shows the intimacy of sharing that journey together,” Royal Biographer Ingrid Seward people told people about their PDAs. “They are able to express themselves in a way they would never have done before.”

Their newer public exhibitions of love are a contrast from previous years in which the prince and princess of Wales were typically more stoic in their interactions in public. However, Myka Meier, royal label expert and founder and director of Beaumont ethic, said earlier to people, “there is no actual etiquette or royal protocol saying that the couple should refrain from PDA.” The probable reason for the restraint of the couple is because they are “working representatives of British monarchy,” Meier said.
