UCLA 72-68 Indiana (February 14, 2025) Game Recap

Bloomington, Ind .– Dylan Andrews hit two free kicks with four seconds left to allow UCLA to hold Indiana, 72-68 on Friday.

With five games left in the Big Ten season, Bruins (19-7, 10-5) is in fifth place. The four top finishers serve a double bye in the conference tournament.

UCLA led by as many as 13 points in the first half and held a 62-52 lead after Tyler Bilodeau’s jumper with 7:43 back, but Myles Rice hit a set up, and Malik Reneau scored twice on the basket, and then answered Kobe Johnsons Jumper with 3: 26 back by tilting in an unanswered 3 from Mackenzie Mgbako to make it 67-63 with 2:42 back. Bilodeau ended with 12 points, five rebounds and three assists to lead Bruins. Skyy Clark was 3-for-3 from 3-point reach and ended with 11 points and Johnson added 10 points, six rebounds and three assists.

Luke Goode ended with 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Indiana (15-11, 6-9). Mgbako and Reneau added each 14 points.

UCLA, who had his seven-game victory cracked on Tuesday in Illinois, equalized his record away from Pauley Pavilion at 6-6 while serving coach Mick Cronin his 499. Career victory.
