FDA Updates foodgood remember that affected more than 2.4 million cases of granola bars

Madegood Granola bars were distributed throughout Canada, USA and other international markets, the company says.

The Granola bars are often sold online and in different retail stores. According to the company’s website, foodgood products can be found on Amazon and at Target, Whole Foods, Wegmans and CVS stores, among others.

FDA classifies memories on a scale of class I to Class III:

• Class in: The most serious classification, these recalls mean that there is a “reasonable likelihood that the use or exposure to a violation product will cause serious negative health consequences or death.”
• Class II: These recalls involve products that “can cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences, or where the likelihood of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”
• Class III: The least serious classification, these recalls involve a product that “does not probably cause adverse health consequences.”

Remarket with remembered from Madegood Granola got a Class II classification. Although the product can cause “temporary or medically reversible” health consequences, if consumed, the risk of severe injury is distant.

Madegood recommends that customers check their products against the list of recalled goods to see if they have any Granola bars affected by the recall.

If you have any of the recalled Granola bars in your pantry, the company said you can return them to the store where they were purchased to receive a full refund.

If you think you have eaten a recalled granola bar, there is no need to worry – no injuries are reported in connection with the recall, the company says.
