What happened to Scottie Barnes? Horrible collision with Karl-Anthony Towns ends Raptors’ Star’s Night

Scottie Barnes gets himself in trouble again! The Toronto Raptors star already missed 11 games this season recovering from a right orbital fracture. Tonight, after a scary knock on his right foot, it looks like he will miss more games than his previous injury. After the scary fall, teammates safely escorted him back to the locker room, and the team announced that he would not be returning for the rest of the night.

Around the 6 minute mark in the third quarter, Barnes took off near the rim to block Karl-Anthony Towns’ layup. While athleticism helped him soar into the air, he had trouble getting back down to the floor. The star had an awkward landing and twisted his right leg on impact. Barnes immediately fell to the floor, whimpering in pain, and he can be seen saying, “Oh my god!” a few times before the medical staff reached the scene.

Also, there was another scary picture where Scottie Barnes can be seen saying, “I can’t feel my foot” to the medical staff. When we looked at the visuals, it made it clear that the damage must be much worse than we thought. Unfortunately Up North page will have to run their machine without their ace offense brigade one more time. This time may be even longer.

On the other hand, the Raptors could not win the game despite fighting neck-to-neck. Barnes’ absence certainly made the difference. The 23-year-old could only manage to hit in 23 minutes and he dropped 15 points with 5 rebounds.
