Monday marked a new era for WWE.

After decades of airing Raw on a traditional telecast, WWE made its streaming debut on Netflix from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.

The event featured Roman Reigns vs. Sola Sikoa in tribal battle for ula fala and the title of tribal leader, Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley for the World Women’s Championship, Drew McIntyre vs. Jey Uso and CM Punk vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins.

Naturally, such an event had plenty of stars in attendance, including The Rock, John Cena, Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels.

The Rock was welcomed by an enthusiastic crowd in Los Angeles.

The Rock kicked off the night by thanking Netflix while also poking fun at the streaming service, saying he’d rather not be “galted.”

“Before we get this show going, I want to acknowledge a few people,” he said. “First of all, when you think about good partners, you have to have the right partner who not only loves WWE and loves professional wrestling, and they see the bigger picture. And that partner is Netflix.”

He also showed love to WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns before kicking things off with his signature catchphrase.
