Baltimore Ravens OT Roger Rosengarten shines against Myles Garrett

Baltimore Ravens right tackle Roger Rosengarten has been one of the Washington Huskies’ best rookies around the NFL in 2024 and proved it in the final week of the regular season against arguably the league’s toughest competition.

Every time Rosengarten lined up to take a snap, he looked over the line and saw five-time All-Pro and reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett looking back at him. As the Ravens cruised to an AFC North division title with a 35-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns, Garrett was practically a non-factor.

The 29-year-old tallied just 2 tackles, 1 for a loss, as Cleveland’s pass rush did nothing to limit quarterback Lamar Jackson. The two-time MVP was not sacked once, throwing for 217 yards and 2 touchdowns.

“I’m very proud. It’s a good group, a fun group, and then just all the things that we went through in the preseason,” center Tyler Linderbaum said of Baltimore’s offensive line. “Losing (offensive line coach) Joe (D’Alessandris) certainly hasn’t been easy, but I think he would be very proud of us. The way we play, the way we play the game, the way we approach the game, I think is something he would be proud of.”

Baltimore also dismantled the Browns’ defensive front with 220 yards and 2 more scores on the ground. With the win, the Ravens secured the No. 3 in the AFC and is set for a wild card weekend showdown with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
