Juvenile arrested for bringing gun to Apalachee High School, officials say

BARROW, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A juvenile brought a gun to Apalachee High School on Wednesday, months after a deadly mass shooting on campus, the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office said.

The youth was arrested.

On September 4, two students and two teachers were killed and several others were injured in a mass shooting at the school.

The incident also comes after students and parents asked the Barrow County School Board for more security measures during a board meeting Tuesday night.
