Stephen Baldwin, Carey Hart talk about joining SPECIAL FORCES

What Stephen Baldwin’s wife really thought about him taking part in this reality show

Stephen Baldwin and action sports star Carey Hart joined SPECIAL FORCES: WORLD’S TOUGHEST TEST and got candid about how their wives really felt about being on the TV show.

SPECIAL FORCE: WORLDS TOUGHEST TEST, a reality series, looking “Celebrities from all genres undertake – and try to survive – demanding training exercises led by top staff agents, an elite team of ex-special forces.

“In this unique series, the only way for these recruits to leave is to give up on their own, through failure or potential harm, or by the force of the agents,” the description continued. “Viewers see the recruits face the harshest environments that simulate the highly classified selection process, push themselves to the ultimate test of their physical, mental and emotional resilience and reveal the deepest and truest character of the celebrities.”

While Hart and Baldwin’s wives were not thrilled with their decision to join the show, they grudgingly supported them.

“You know, I tend to do some wild and off-the-wall things and experiences, and my wife takes them in stride, you know. And she’s like, ‘Okay, well, this is something you really would like to do. You’re an idiot, but I support it,'” Hart said by his wife, the pop star Pink. “You know, go, get through it in one piece because she’s been along for the ride for many, many injuries that I’ve sustained and recovered from. So she’s calculated. I’m ruthless, then, but she was very supportive.”

“My wife is calculated and I was restless, but it’s pretty similar,” echoed Baldwin of his wife Kennya Baldwin. “You said before, your wife said, ‘You’re an idiot, you’re crazy. Go for it.’ My wife doesn’t call me an idiot. She just looks at me like you’re just going to do whatever you want to do…whether I say do it or not.”

“But again, this was my wife talking to me about whether or not I should do SPECIAL FORCESSER is very different simply because we’ve been together for 35 years,” Baldwin continued. “So there’s quite a bit more story there about my craziness and adrenaline junkie activity. But without a doubt, SPECIAL FORCES was the world’s toughest test for me, life-changing.”

Season 3 of SPECIAL FORCES premieres on January 8 at 8/7c on FOX.

Along with Baldwin and Hart, the season will feature “Denise Richards, former Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, original BACHELORETTE Trista Sutter, Disney Channel alums Christy Carlson Romano and Kyla Pratt (aka the voices of Kim Possible and Penny Proud, respectively) ( and ) Brody Jenner,” TV Insider, among others reported.
